1. Старый город

2. Gobustan Reserve
Gobustan is an archaeological reserve in Azerbaijan, south of Baku, in the territory of the Karadag and Absheron regions. Here you can see ancient rock paintings dating back tens of thousands of years. There are about 6,000 paintings in Gobustan, which were created from the Mesolithic period to the Middle Ages. But the heyday of primitive art in the territory of modern Azerbaijan is considered to be the Bronze Age, when the centuries-old life experience of ancient tribes, their cult-religious and aesthetic views received their fullest expression.
Next to the village of Gobustan, in the area of the reserve, there is one of the largest clusters of mud volcanoes in the world. The origin of this natural phenomenon is associated with oil and gas deposits. The territory occupied by mud volcanoes is a State Nature Reserve and is under protection.
3. Ateshgah
Ateshgah is a historical and religious complex located in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. It is famous for its natural gas flames, which locals consider sacred fire. These fiery sources were used as a place of worship by Zoroastrians, who believed that fire was a symbol of divine light and purity.
Ateshgah was built in the 18th-19th centuries on the site of an older temple dating back to the 2nd millennium BC. Currently, the complex includes several buildings, altars, and flaming forges where you can see burning natural gas.
In 1975, Ateshgah was declared a museum of the history of religion, and in 2007 it was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites as part of the "Gobustan Reserve".
4. Heydar Aliyev Center
